Thank you for your interest in joining the team!

Details, Terms, And Application

If you have any questions about anything stated herein, send an email to or
Positions currently available to Putnam County, FL and St. John’s County, FL residents. If you reside outside Putnam County or St. John’s County, feel free to send an email and you will be notified as soon as positions open in your area. We are also accepting applications for Lowndes County, GA.
Team members who join us now, and help us grow, will be given priority to be promoted to management/corporate as we grow and expand. First will be management managing current and new areas as we expand. The first promoted to management will be offered to join corporate when the time comes, as we grow. We work solely on a Percentage-Based (Commission-Based) Pay Model.
We support the Independent Labor Alliance (facebook | twitter) and are fighting to keep IRS standards over the PRO Act. If you disagree with our stance, don’t apply.

If you’d like to shop/deliver on the Red’s Delivery Services Personal Driver team, you must:

  • Understand you will be an Independent Contractor and must be able to work with a business mindset
  • Be 20yrs old or older
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Have a reliable vehicle
  • Have active auto insurance with a rideshare/delivery driver addendum (recommended) (add-on is typically only $15-30 extra added to your policy)
  • Clean driving record
  • Vehicle with no serious dents, dings, missing body parts (if you join my third-party fleets, vehicle may have an age requirement)
  • Have a working cell phone
  • Submit to a background check
  • Be self-motivated
  • Have a payment app or bank account (to get paid). If you need a payment app or bank account, see below for payment apps we work with and banks we use and trust.

Personal Driver breaks into the following categories:

  • Personal Driver: All order types
  • Personal Shopper: Shopping and other full-service orders
  • Delivery Driver: Delivery Only (prepaid) orders
  • Tasker: Tasks and Errands order types

In the new app being built, you will be able to toggle on/off the order types you want to accept.

Shopping and delivering groceries and restaurant orders and performing Tasks/Errands, you will receive part of the fee Red’s Delivery Services charges on a weekly basis. You (Shoppers) will be given a company card that will be preloaded to make the purchases. Do NOT lose this card. Lost card replacement fee will come out of your pay.
Shoppers: Customer orders will be viewable via the company app. Upon being approved to join the team, you will need to download the app. Keep in contact with customer about any replacements, etc.
Delivery Drivers/Taskers: Pickups will be dispatched via text. Login issue is being worked on. (This will NOT affect your pay. Only difference is we’ll be looking at texts instead of the app to calculate your pay (completed deliveries))

It’s recommended you have rideshare/delivery addendum added to your auto insurance policy. Company policies only cover certain conditions, any accidents outside those conditions fall on your insurance company. To avoid cancellation upon an accident, it’s wise to invest the additional $15-30 in the rideshare/delivery addendum; Red’s Delivery Services, and the companies we’re partnered with, will not be held liable in the event your insurance drops your policy due to your lack of proper coverage added to your policy. In the event your company doesn’t offer the extra coverage, we recommend using StateFarm.
If your application is approved to join our Shopper/Delivery team, you will be listed as an approved Shopper/Delivery Driver on this site. Your information will appear as:

  • First Name Last Initial
  • Vehicle Info (make, model, plate)

As an Independent Contractor, you have the right to accept or decline any work offered.
If you’re looking to do this full-time, be sure to check off the box in the application. Those seeking to go full-time availability will receive preference on pickups from businesses contracting delivery services from us.

Pay will be weekly. Pay will be sent via direct deposit to the payment account you give in your application. If you apply as your business, please submit proper information to be paid to your business.

  • You keep 40% of all Red’s Delivery Services fees per shop/delivery/task you complete plus any tips.
    • To put it in perspective, just one average grocery order or two restaurant orders (or one plus tip) per hour will be above the equivalent of minimum wage hourly pay.
      • At current fees, just 2 ‘delivery-only’ restaurant orders per hour without tip is $16/hr. If customers tip, it’d be $16 + tip/hr. More deliveries in an hour equals higher pay for the hour.
    • Tips left “in app” on orders that have a Delivery Driver pickup from a Shopper to deliver will work as follows:
      • Shopper and Delivery Driver agree on their own how tips will work (ex: Shopper keeps in-app Driver keeps any cash tips, a split, etc) and both parties notify Red of agreement; OR
      • Any in-app tip(s) will be split 50/50 between Shopper and Driver. Any cash tips is between the Delivery Driver and Shopper to discuss.
        • Unless otherwise agreed between Shopper and Delivery Driver, any cash tips may be kept entirely by Delivery Driver.
  • Due to timing of our payment processor, each weeks pay will include the previous Saturday-Friday orders you shopped/delivered. Depending on the speed of your bank/account you choose to get paid to, your pay will arrive between Wednesday-Friday following each week you work. (CashApp users may get paid as early as Monday)
  • Payments will either show the business name as “William Conrad” or “Red’s Delivery Services”. At the end of the year, when you receive your 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC, you must enter the business name as it’s shown on the stubs and/or 1099-MISC / NEC, plus the EIN when you do your taxes.

You will also be given an account with our payroll service provider, where you’ll be able to:

  • Update personal information (address, contact info, bank info, etc)
  • Receive your 1099-MISC / NEC online each year
  • Keep track of your pay
  • Get paid faster through Cash App

You will need to download the Team app from our service provider, and login with the PIN we assign you, to get the above benefits. Android | Apple
Pay can be received to any service that offers bank account information. If you choose to be paid via PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or other payment service, use the direct deposit information as your bank information to be paid.

NOTE: App developers for current app (Florida only) are fixing an issue with team login. Until issue is fixed, you will be a Delivery Driver delivering prepaid restaurant orders and orders shopped by a Shopper and/or Tasker completing Tasks/Errands. For shopped orders, you will meet Shopper at store and take paid for order from Shopper to deliver to customer. Prepaid store and restaurant orders you will arrive to location pickup area and deliver order. When team login is functional, you will be able to become a Shopper and receive company card to shop orders at that time. This only affects the Shopper app, not our pay services app; pay is through a different service provider. We’re also working on a separate system for “off-platform” full-service orders with separate cards to shop these orders.

Our new app being built will cover our entire service area and ultimately replace the current app and system. When the new app launches, we will begin going through applicants in Georgia; Delivery Drivers in Florida will be able to become Full-Service Shoppers.

You are expected to provide professional shopping and delivery services to our clients. The more you shop, the faster you’ll get. Always try to begin early enough you are able to get the delivery to the clients door on time. Each client will pick a delivery time or window with their order. Do your best to make delivery on time or within the window.

It is expected that customers who know you may go directly to you for services. It is important you inform them that they must continue shopping through our app, they can request you specifically to be their shopper/delivery driver.

You must be a self-motivated go-getter. The more people here about the service, the more work we can hand out. The more clients that prefer you, the more guaranteed work you will have.

  • By spreading business awareness, you are more then welcome to ask that they make you their preferred Shopper/Delivery Driver. The more customers prefer you, the more work you are guaranteed to have. Send your referrals to or to download the customer app and start shopping. Feel free to share hours and days you want to work and ask that clients that prefer you only place orders during those times.
  • Shopper/Delivery Drivers with 15 or more customers who prefer them may receive access to the Red’s Delivery Services Facebook page to communicate with your customers directly and to address any of their issues yourself.

Shoppers: You will be provided a company Credit Card to make all purchases. This card is preloaded with the customers money for the customers orders. Do NOT attempt to use this card for any personal purchases or any items not requested by the customer. There are certain items that are NOT yet covered, these items include, but are not limited to:

  • Hazardous Chemicals
  • Weapons (including ammunition, fireworks, and other related items)
  • Porn paraphernalia (including adult toys)
  • Gift cards, gift certificates, prepaid cards, prepaid phone cards, and related items
  • Drug paraphernalia or any equipment designed for making or using drugs, including but not limited to bongs, vaporizers, and hookahs

If a customer requests any item that is currently not supported, inform them you can pickup everything else but those certain items you cannot as they are not supported on the platform we use.

Once the Shopper app functionality is restored and allows for team login, you will be able to choose if you would like to be a full Shopper or just a Delivery Driver or Tasker. As a Shopper, full and complete terms apply. As a Delivery Driver, only delivery related terms apply. Delivery Drivers will be coordinating with Shoppers backed up with orders to pick up order after Shopper completes the shop to deliver the order so Shopper can shop next order. Delivery Drivers may also be kept busy with restaurant orders and/or be assigned to one or more restaurants (within 5 miles of each other), depending on how busy the restaurant(s) is/are in demand of delivery services.

In the new app being built, you will be able to choose which offers you want to receive (Full-Service, Delivery Only, Tasks/Errands, or any combination thereof).

Alcohol/Tobacco Sales:
You MUST verify their ID before pickup/delivery. To verify age before delivery:

  • Ask customer for a selfie, headshot with no mask or hat on
  • Ask customer for a picture of their photo ID taken in a well lit area, flash off to avoid glare
  • Compare selfie to photo on ID, verify age/DOB

If it’s reported you are delivering alcohol or tobacco products to individuals under 21yrs old, or you are not yet 21yrs old, you will be terminated. If the customer is under 21yrs, you CANNOT deliver any alcohol/tobacco products.

As an independent contractor, you have the right to accept or deny alcohol/tobacco orders. If you accept these orders, these terms must be abided by.

It is the Shoppers responsibility to verify ID of clients. It is the Delivery Drivers responsibility to confirm ID has been verified when grocery order is handed off for delivery. Delivery Drivers are responsible to verify ID on restaurant orders that contain alcoholic beverages.

Completing Services:
Shoppers: To perform services, you will be given an account on the company side of the platform and a link to download the business side of the app. This is where you will see the orders from customers, be able to communicate with customers, etc. During busy times with back-to-back shopping orders you may contact a Delivery Driver to pickup completed shops for delivery so you can move onto the next shop; you may also get assigned a Delivery Driver. If you contact a Delivery Driver for a pickup, notify Red so a second driver isn’t sent out.

While app shopper login is being worked on, orders will arrive via text. A picture of the receipt MUST be sent to Red BEFORE delivery so order can be closed out.

Delivery Drivers: You will be sent info for shopped orders and restaurant orders, including customer contact and address, to complete a successful delivery. For shopped order pickups, coordinate a pickup location with the Shopper you are picking up from.

Shoppers/Delivery Drivers: For general GPS use, Waze is recommended. It alerts to potential slow traffic, alternate routes, etc. For quick delivery to apartment complexes, consider using the Beans GPS app.
Your stated availability will be posted on our website for clients who prefer your services. As you update your availability, it will be updated on this website.
You will only be sent orders during your stated availability. Upon receiving an order, you will have two minutes to respond you’re on your way. If no response of acceptance is received, it will be passed on to the next Shopper/Delivery Driver. You will receive another message at the two minute mark informing you the order is about to be passed on, if you are on your way or about to leave to pickup order you must respond stating as such. Should multiple Shoppers/Delivery Drivers be sent for the same order at the same time two or more times due to lack of responding back of your acceptance of an order, your contract may be terminated.

Additional services that we offer include:

  • Helping Move
  • Packing/Unpacking
  • Rental Property Management Assistance

Details of what these services include may be viewed on the Tasks page. These services will be offered to you the same way you will receive shopping and pickup orders in the app.

Orders will be completed as follows:

  1. You will receive a text message with order information (Order Pickup Location, Order #/Name, Customer Name and Customer Number, Dropoff Location) [Customers information is ONLY for purposes of delivery. Do NOT store customer information]
  2. Within 2 minutes of receiving text message you are to respond stating whether or not you are accepting the order
  3. Keep in touch with customer about any issues (order still being prepared, heavy traffic, etc); and notifying Red once order is picked up and that you are headed to dropoff
  4. After dropping off order to customer, notify Red order is complete so order can be closed out and you can receive additional orders

Additional Services:
Occasionally a customer will order a Task. Tasks/Errands are additional ways you could earn. You will be paid the same way for Tasks as you are Shopping and Delivery orders, only main difference is most Tasks are charged by the hour. The pay you see when offered a Task/Errand will be the minimum payout you will receive for that Task; if Task/Errand goes above minimum time charged to the customer, your pay will be higher then shown when offered. View Tasks page for details what’s involved in each Task/Errand.

Tasks that require photos you are to take photos of the areas the customer requests from outside the vehicle. Photos taken from inside the vehicle will not be accepted and will have to be resubmitted.

The app will also allow you to choose to only be a Tasker. But keep in mind, only accepting Tasks/Errands will limit offers you receive and potential income.

As a self-employed Independent Contractor, you agree you are responsible for all gas, insurances, and maintenance on your vehicle. There are programs and tools you can take advantage of for discounts and/or higher tax deductions. Any paid services, including benefit packages you purchase, are tax deductible; be sure to track them. Tools to consider using:

  • Stride Tax app – tracks mileage and deductions; estimates how much you should put aside for taxes. Gas is included in the mileage rate for deductions. Turn app on when you leave for a pickup, turn off app after you return home. Mark each trip appropriately as Delivery. Stride also offers cheap insurance plans (health, vision, dental). App is free to use.
  • Hurdlr – Has an app and web version; is a bit more robust then Stride Tax. If you’re contracting full-time, this app is recommended. (Free and paid versions; paid versions are trackable as a tax deduction)
  • QuickBooks Self-employed app – also tracks mileage, expenses, etc and forwards report to TurboTax for easy tax filing (monthly cost, tax deduction).
  • Maxymo – if you join our third-party fleets, this app makes it easier and more efficient to switch between multiple apps that are running to help maximize earning potential between apps
  • Steady App – offers financial/expenses tracking, insurance offers (auto, health, vision, dental, etc) as well as any other gig or side work and employment opportunities.
  • GetUpside App – Save on gas with GetUpside. Either click the link to download or use my code after downloading the app direct from the app/play store: RED6738
  • Catch Benefits – Offers tax withholding, retirement, and health insurance for independent contractors.
  • Sidecar Health – Offers affordable healthcare plans

I use the above tools myself. They do make life a lot easier, especially come tax time. The recommended combo if you’re part-time is Stride Tax and Steady; if you’re full-time (either with us and/or multiple gigs), Hurdlr is recommended instead of Stride. With those two apps alone, you can track all expenses, write-offs, income, mileage, and any benefits you choose to apply for.

All Shoppers and Delivery Drivers are also responsible for helping market Red’s Delivery Services to customers and businesses. As stated above, you are able to request customers ask for you as their preferred Shopper/Delivery Driver. You’re marketing of the services helps you get more work. Any and all marketing efforts should direct to:

  • Customers:
    • or RedsDelivery.Services for service information
    • to download the app to place orders and request delivery
  • Businesses:
    • for traditional business service information
    • for online business information

You are also responsible to keep your availability up-to-date. If you fail to respond to an order three consecutive times, either accepting or declining, your contract will be terminated. We need a team we can rely on. Do not apply if you’re not going to be available when you suggest you will be.

You are responsible to pay any staff, sub-contractors, or other personnel you employ and handout orders too. You are responsible for completion of any orders handed out to any staff, personnel, or sub-contractors you employ.

Upon such a time you or Red’s Delivery Services terminates the work contract, after your final order you are to return your company credit card. Failure to return the card will cost you the $20+ replacement fee, and will be deducted out of your final pay.

Any terms broken, or “moonlighting” our customers, is grounds for termination. All customer info you receive is only to be used for the delivery at that time. No customer information is to be used for “moonlighting” or otherwise illegal activities. As a self-employed independent contractor, you are free to work multiple gigs, and run your business how you see fit, but you are not to attempt to divert customers funds, whether charged in advance or at time of delivery, away from this business.

With Red’s Delivery Services, and each third-party fleet you may opt to join, you are a self-employed independent contractor. This is not an employment agreement. You are responsible for your own insurances, taxes, etc. We will offer our help and advice in what tools to use to help you; but it is ultimately your responsibility. This is not an offer of employment, and should not be considered as such. Should your application be approved, you are an independent contractor with Red’s Delivery Services and any third-party fleets you may join.

At any given time, any and all terms and/or a separate terms page may be updated/created. At such time, you will be notified via text and/or email. Continued use of our platform and working with us will constitute agreement to any and all updates to terms and conditions, contractor agreement, and other policies.
In the near future we may be partnering with another company or expanding this platform that will offer you additional ways of generating income, as things happen we will keep all team members up to date with the details.

As the company grows, certain perks may be made available to team members. If/When perks are created and started, they will be explained (via email) what it is and how it works. To qualify for perks:

For clarification purposes, RDS is a team of independent contractors working together to fulfill customers orders.

As the service grows and expands, team members may be given the option to join management to help oversee current and expanded markets and market areas. The faster we grow, the faster an opportunity will arise. Those who provide professional, quality service to all clients/customers at all times, help build the service and grow clientele, and help bring fresh ideas to the table will be considered.

All management positions are as commissioned-employees. As stated above, we use a commission-based pay model.

Keeping track of finances:
If you do gig work and/or business full-time, it is recommended you have a financial plan. I’ve put together a blog post detailing what I do. It’s a bit complex, and you may be able to use a simplified version. But the post was written to give a general idea of how finances should be separated for personal, business, and emergency use. You can view it by clicking here.
